May is National Pet month here in the United States, and many of us take the beautiful spring months to reclaim our love of nature, not to mention more time with our pets outdoors. Here are some fun tips and tricks from American grooming academy to make your May as beautiful as spring flowers!
Make Your Pet a Great Cinco De Mayo Taco!
Pets love occasions where they can be the center of attention. Make this Cinco De Mayo a day filled with goodies for them as well.! Here is a tried and true “Dog Taco” that instructor Kat Marchant has made for her Bunch of Pit Bulls!
Ingredients:
- 1lb Chicken Breast NO SKIN ( I have a lot of hungry Mouths!)
- 6-10 Corn Tortillas (you can use flour if your pets prefer)
- 1 cup whole Milk cheese
Put chicken breast into crock pot on high for two hours. Shred chicken and let soak in juice. Warm tortillas in microwave, You do not want to warm over an open flame, no burnt edges. Spoon chicken into warm tortilla and top with a small amount of cheese. Feed to your hungry and happy pets! Happy Cinco De Mayo!
