Pet Grooming Services

Our priority is a positive experience for you and your pet! Your pet will be in a safe, comfortable, State of the art pet Grooming Salon. You may select one of our Professional Pet Stylists or a Pet Stylist Student.

We use all natural, biodegradable shampoos because they are safe for pets and the environment. Our pet groomers are skilled in professional grooming techniques for dogs and understand the particular breed standards.

Health
All pets are checked for the skin condition, coat, eyes, ears and teeth, we will alert you of potential health problems and may recommend that your pet visit a veterinarian.

We also provide special treatments should your dog have fleas or ticks. Regular grooming keeps your pet healthy and looking nice!

Safety
The shop environment is air-conditioned and secure to ensure your dog is safe and comfortable.  Easy pickup and drop-off parking, directly in front of the shop make it easy to include grooming into your everyday life!

Groomer Options

At American Grooming Salon, you have an option to have your pet groomed by a Professional Pet Stylist or a Pet Stylist Student in training. If you select a student, you will be charged a discounted rate. 

Professional Pet Stylist

At American Grooming Academy we believe and stand behind the education for our staff and pet stylist. The Pet Stylist at AGA are certified pet stylist through AGA to ensure your pet receives a quality grooming while keeping your pet safe. AGA also requires and provides yearly continuing education for our pet stylist for CPR through Pet Tech, Professional Certification for safety, health and sanitation through IPG International Pet Groomers Association, and Continual Education and certification through “Canine Approved Groomers”. Our Pet Stylist are passionate about their profession and the pets in their care. Our professionals are available Monday through Saturday.

Pet Stylist Student In Training

AGA offers incentive grooming pricing with one of our Pet Stylist students in training. Your pet can be evaluated to determine if the student in training is a good fit, based on your pets age, health, condition and personality during grooming. One important thing to consider when choosing a Pet Stylist student in training is “time”. Grooming services with a student in training will require more time.  Students in training are supervised, provided training and guidance by an instructor at all times and will be reviewed and approved prior to going home.

  • Brushing (15 to 20 min)

  • Nail Clipping

  • Ear Cleaning

  • *Anal Gland Expression ( Small and Medium Dogs Only )

  • Sanitary Clipping

  • Inspect skin, gums, teeth, and paws

  • Check for external parasites Shampoo

  • Fluff dry

  • Spritz with scented cologne

  • Finish with bandana and/or bow

Full Service Bath Includes:

  • Bath

  • Light trim around eyes

  • Nail Clipping

  • Ear Cleaning

We provide cat grooming with one of our Certified Professional Cat Groomers.

Grooming service prices may vary and are based on breed, size, condition and services preformed. *Anal glands are checked upon request of the owner. Small and Medium dogs only. Dematting and deshedding is an additional charge.
